WordPress Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build fully responsive and SEO-friendly websites.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing WordPress websites.
• Implement custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom fields.
• Work with design and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
• Conduct website performance tests and resolve issues such as bugs or usability.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or sample sites is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Knowledge of website hosting, domains, and migration.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them.
• Experience with WooCommerce and other popular plugins.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Experience in integrating third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).
• Knowledge of security best practices and web accessibility standards.
