Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins. Build fully responsive and SEO-friendly websites. Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing WordPress websites. Implement custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom fields. Work with design and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability. Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility. Conduct website performance tests and resolve issues such as bugs or usability. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices. Requirements: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or sample sites is a plus). Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery). Knowledge of website hosting, domains, and migration. Familiarity with Git and version control systems. Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them. Experience with WooCommerce and other popular plugins. Ability to write clean, well-documented, and reusable code. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX. Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. Experience in integrating third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs). Knowledge of security best practices and web accessibility standards.
