Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to bring websites to life.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing WordPress sites.
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools (e.g., payment gateways, CRM platforms).
• Ensure websites are mobile-responsive and cross-browser compatible.
• Maintain code quality through version control (Git), testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of WordPress architecture, hooks, actions, and filters.
• Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and CMS best practices.
• Good understanding of website security, performance optimization, and SEO.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
