Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, and implementing attractive and user-friendly websites according to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
• Develop custom themes and plugins from scratch or modify existing ones.
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and scalability.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to convert design mockups into responsive, interactive websites.
• Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay up-to-date with new trends, tools, and technologies in WordPress development.
• Collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Knowledge of theme and plugin development, including custom post types and taxonomies.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce integration.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and headless WordPress.
• Basic knowledge of Linux server environments and hosting management.
• Experience with performance and security optimization.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
