Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with 1–3 years of experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and front-end technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize existing themes and plugins as per business requirements
• Build responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools into WordPress
• Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs and compatibility issues
• Collaborate with designers and backend teams
• Maintain and update WordPress websites

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with WordPress hooks (actions & filters)
• Theme customization and child theme development
• Plugin customization and basic plugin development
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg)
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Good to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce customization
• Knowledge of REST APIs & AJAX
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
• Experience with Git / version control
• Basic understanding of website security & performance optimization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant WordPress certifications (optional)
