Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time role for a WordPress and PHP Developer. The role is on-site and located in Ahmedabad. The WordPress and PHP Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, programming, and software development. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining WordPress websites, building custom plugins and themes, implementing new features, and troubleshooting issues. The role also involves collaborating with the design and marketing teams to ensure seamless front-end integrations and managing databases. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance custom WordPress websites and plugins Build backend systems using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter Collaborate with designers and marketers to deliver responsive, SEO-optimized websites Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness Optimize websites for speed, performance, and technical SEO compliance Troubleshoot issues, write clean and scalable code, and maintain proper documentation Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in web development Strong proficiency in WordPress (custom themes and plugins) Experience with PHP, especially Laravel or CodeIgniter Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Familiarity with Responsive Design, Git, and clean coding practices Basic understanding of SEO, page speed, and digital marketing principles is a bonus Knowledge of MySQL, AJAX, and RESTful APIs Show more Show less
