WMS Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. WMS Operations Management • Operate and monitor the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for day-to-day warehouse activities • Ensure all inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and dispatch operations are accurately tracked in the system • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely completion of system-assigned tasks (putaway, picking, replenishment) 2. Inventory Control • Maintain accurate inventory levels within the WMS through regular updates and validations • Perform stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical stock audits using the system • Investigate and resolve stock mismatches or discrepancies in the WMS 3. System Support & Troubleshooting • Identify and troubleshoot WMS-related issues or errors in coordination with IT or software vendors • Log tickets for system bugs, enhancements, or user access requests • Ensure smooth functioning of handheld terminals (HHTs), barcode scanners, and printers 4. Reporting & Documentation • Generate and maintain operational reports (stock status, dispatch reports, inbound reports, etc.) • Ensure all system entries are properly documented and in line with company SOPs • Prepare and share daily/weekly reports with operations and management teams 5. Training & Process Improvement • Train new users and warehouse staff on WMS usage, system protocols, and barcode scanning • Support process improvement initiatives to reduce errors and increase warehouse efficiency • Assist in WMS testing during updates, patches, or new feature rollouts 6. Compliance & System Hygiene • Ensure data hygiene by maintaining correct SKU codes, batch numbers. • Ensure all system entries comply with internal control procedures and audit requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate with 13 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, proficient in WMS, Tally Prime, and MS Excel. Strong in problem-solving, inventory control, and data accuracy. Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to coordinate effectively with warehouse and IT teams.
