LLOYDS INFRASTRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION LIMITED (LICL) Job Description Position Title: Executive / Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager Commercial Department: Commercial Location: Konsari Reporting To: Manager / Head – Commercial 1. Job Purpose To manage and execute procurement and commercial operations related to Service Contracts, Fuel Purchase, Statutory Clearances, and procurement of Electrical, Mechanical, and HEMM materials and services . The role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with company and statutory norms. 2. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement of Electrical, Mechanical, and HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) materials, spares, and consumables. Prepare, negotiate, and finalize service contracts and purchase orders in coordination with user departments. Oversee Fuel Purchase operations (Diesel, Coal, etc.) including vendor management, rate negotiation, and logistics arrangements. Ensure timely renewal and compliance of statutory clearances relevant to procurement and supply chain operations. Float enquiries, evaluate techno-commercial offers, and finalize suppliers ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all procurement and contract-related activities. Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, Operations, and Maintenance to ensure smooth execution of procurement processes. Develop and maintain a strong vendor base , ensuring regular performance evaluation and continuous improvement. Support in budgeting, MIS reporting, and cost control initiatives within the Commercial function. Adhere to company policies, ethical procurement standards, and safety guidelines . 3. Required Skills & Competencies Sound knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and commercial documentation . Technical understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, and HEMM equipment and materials . Experience in fuel procurement and knowledge of related statutory compliance requirements . Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management abilities. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP / HONO systems , and standard documentation procedures. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate across multiple departments. 4. Qualification & Experience Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or B.Com / MBA in Supply Chain / Materials Management Experience: 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, service contracts, or commercial operations , preferably in manufacturing, power, infrastructure, or metals industry . 5. Key Attributes Proactive and result-oriented approach. Integrity and adherence to ethical business practices. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
