Windows Server Engineer

As an Engineer at our company, your role will involve the following day-to-day activities: - Provide 2nd line (end to end) Windows Server environment support - Commissioning and Decommissioning of Physical & Virtual Servers - Patch management & packaging for Windows platforms - Managing File & Print Server - SQL server incident management & life cycle support - Remote desktop server support You should possess the following qualifications and qualities: - A professional with strong values such as respect towards individuals, team work, readiness to serve, and efficiency with simplicity. - Self-driven individual who thinks along organizational/team goals, takes a proactive approach, and has a sense of ownership. - Capability to work in a complex environment, adapt to changing environments, and face challenges with flexibility. - Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to anticipate impacts and be approachable. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining data in Microsoft Word and Excel. Additionally, you must have proven technical/process knowledge in the following areas: - Administration of Windows Server Windows Servers 2012 Operating Systems, 2008 R2 and 2016, 2020 - Windows network infrastructure and services such as IP addressing, DHCP, routing, RAS, SQL, RDS - Windows File and Print Services & DFS replication - Windows Cluster, Load balancer - Virtualization - MECM (SCCM) - Antivirus - Monitoring on the Windows platform (event, log, performance) - ITIL processes Change, Incident and Problem.
