Windows Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and manage

  Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022

  environments.
• Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and system updates.
  
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues related to performance, backups, and security.
  
• Manage

  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

  , and other core Windows services.
• Provide hands-on support for

  IIS, Plesk, DNS, SQL, and domain services

  .
• Configure and manage

  Hyper-V virtual environments

  , including VMs, virtual networks, and storage.
• Deliver

  Level 2 and Level 3 technical support

  for Windows Server, Azure, and virtualization-related issues.
• Handle incidents and service requests, perform

  root cause analysis

  , and implement preventive solutions.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track server health, performance, and network traffic.
  
• Design, implement, and manage

  backup and recovery solutions

  , including Azure Backup and NAS storage.
• Implement and maintain

  security best practices

  for servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology

  , or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 13 years

  of experience in

  Windows Server administration

  ,

  Azure cloud

  , and

  Hyper-V virtualization

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)

  in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of

  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

  , and Windows services.
• Good understanding of

  Azure services

  such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and Storage Accounts.
• Experience with

  PowerShell and BAT scripting

  for automation.
• Knowledge of

  backup solutions, disaster recovery

  , and security protocols.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications :

• Microsoft certifications such as

  MCSE

  or

  Azure Solutions Architect

  .
• Experience managing

  hybrid cloud environments (Azure & Hyper-V)

  .
• Solid understanding of

  networking concepts and troubleshooting

  .
