Wholesale Credit Risk Intermediate Analyst - Commodities Officer

As a Credit Risk Senior Analyst at Citi, you will play a crucial role in Institutional Credit Management's mandate to deliver best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration. Your responsibilities will include assessing the credit and financial strength of Citis Large Corporate Clients, completing Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings, and continuously monitoring the covered portfolio. You will also be expected to partner with regional and industry stakeholders in the implementation of credit assessment and monitoring standards, support Voice of the Employee initiatives, and travel occasionally. Key Responsibilities: - Perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using quantitative and qualitative factors - Produce Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and provide support for Ad-Hoc Transactions and Portfolio & Industry Reviews and Stress Testing - Monitor the covered portfolio, follow industry trends, and escalate potential credit issues - Partner with regional and industry stakeholders to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards - Support Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives - Travel occasionally (less than 10%) Qualifications: - 3-5 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management, or equivalent (background in commodities, energy, and natural resources preferred) - Knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and organizational awareness - Intermediate analytical skills and understanding of key financial components - Thorough knowledge of Citis systems - Experience in preparing presentations for seniors - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills - Written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Education: - BCOM/CA or higher degree in Business (MBA) or a related subject This job description provides an overview of your roles and responsibilities as a Credit Risk Senior Analyst at Citi.
