Profile Summary:

Western Instrumental Music Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct group and individual lessons in Guitar, Piano, and Keyboard based on established Western music methodologies.
• Design and deliver customised lesson plans tailored to students’ proficiency levels, interests, and learning speed.
• Implement a comprehensive curriculum covering music theory, technique, repertoire building, and performance skills.
• Prepare students for recitals, school performances, assessments, and competitions, ensuring they meet performance standards.
• Evaluate student progress through periodic assessments and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Maintain lesson records, performance reports, and other documentation as required by the academy.

Apply If:

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Music, Performing Arts, Education, or a related discipline.
• You have a minimum of 6 months of experience teaching Western musical instruments in schools, music institutes, or private settings.
• You can train students aged four (4) to sixteen (16) across beginner to intermediate levels.
• You have strong foundational knowledge of Western music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and instrumental pedagogy.
• You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate students in a classroom environment.
