Job Title: Welder – Heavy Structure & Machinery Base Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Location: Atmiya Industrial Estate 9, Varsada Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: 12000-22000 Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy structural fabrication and machinery base welding. The ideal candidate should have experience with various welding techniques, especially MIG, and Arc welding, and be proficient in working with thick steel plates, structural components, and industrial machinery bases. Key Responsibilities: Perform welding on heavy steel structures and machinery base components. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Use tools such as grinders, torches, and cutting equipment to prepare materials. Ensure welds meet quality standards through visual inspection and measurement tools. Operate welding machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Fit and assemble structural frameworks and components before welding. Repair and maintain existing welded structures and equipment as needed. Comply with safety protocols, PPE usage, and industry regulations at all times. Qualifications and Skills:Minimum 2 years of experience in welding, specifically in heavy structural fabrication and machinery base welding. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and welding drawings. Skilled in using fabrication tools and machinery (grinders, cutting torches, clamps, etc.). Basic knowledge of metallurgy and welding symbols. Physically fit and able to work in high-heat and sometimes confined environments. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Preferred: Certification in welding from a recognized technical institution or trade school. Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, or material handling equipment. Knowledge of welding codes such as ASME, AWS, or ISO standards.
