Job Purpose/Summary:

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Welding:

  Perform welding using various techniques (e.g., Arc, TIG, MIG) on different materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys) for repairs, fabrication, and structural work.

• Fabrication:

  Fabricate and assemble metal structures, pipe spools, and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Cutting:

  Perform thermal cutting operations (e.g., oxy-acetylene, plasma) as

• Inspection:

  Inspect welded joints for quality, defects, and adherence to welding

• Preparation:

  Prepare welding surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and

• Equipment Maintenance:

  Maintain welding machines, torches, and associated equipment in good working

• Safety Compliance:

  Strictly adhere to all welding safety procedures (e.g., fire prevention, ventilation, PPE, hot work permits).

• Reporting:

  Accurately record details of welding work performed and materials

• Timeliness of Welding Jobs

Required Qualifications:

• ITI Welder trade certificate or equivalent vocational
• Certified welder (various processes and materials)

Required Experience:

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience as an industrial welder, preferably in a heavy process plant or fabrication
• Experience with structural welding, pipe welding, and pressure vessel

Required Skills:

• Expertise in various

  welding processes
