Job Description

As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and evolving formal QA/testing practices, test processes, methodology, and standards for agile development efforts. You will lead the QA strategy, test design/plan, test automation, and drive test execution across scrum teams. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new automation frameworks. Additionally, you will be required to analyze the latest tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing automation frameworks on various tools and technologies - Providing strong leadership to motivate and guide team members - Giving constructive feedback to inspire better performance - Managing conflict, team building, and stakeholder communication - Communicating plans, commitments, and scope changes to stakeholders - Guiding and driving COE initiatives - Demonstrating proficiency in software testing methodologies and best practices - Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, Python - Setting up and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines for automation execution of deployments - Conducting API testing through different approaches like RestAssured, Postman - Demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Handling conflict resolution and setting tangible goals for the team - Hiring and expanding QA teams - Working independently within the team and cross-functional teams - Being well-organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented - Accepting changes positively and helping others adapt to change Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Tech or bachelor's degree in a related discipline This is a summary of the primary accountabilities and requirements for this position.
