Web Experimentation & Personalization Technical

As a technically proficient contractor on the AB Tasty customer experience optimization platform, your primary responsibility will be to support and accelerate testing, experimentation, optimization, and personalization efforts on the marketing website. You will act as the AB Tasty power user, leveraging the platform's capabilities for agile prototyping, dynamic component development, and advanced A/B testing. Collaboration with various teams will be crucial in creating high-performing user experiences aligned with growth goals. - **Platform Expertise:** - Architect and maintain scalable components using AB Tasty visual and code-based editors. - Stay updated on new platform capabilities and implement them effectively. - **Component & Experiment Development:** - Write custom JavaScript/CSS/HTML for tests and personalization. - Develop reusable code templates and AB Tasty widgets for large-scale experimentation. - Implement advanced test logic, including conditional flows and integrations. - **Tagging, Tracking & QA:** - Ensure robust tagging in collaboration with analytics. - Establish QA processes for pre-deployment test validation. - Deploy and maintain feature flags for agile experimentation. - **Experimentation Strategy:** - Contribute to test ideation and prioritization based on business goals. - Translate hypotheses into technically feasible test implementations. - Monitor test performance with statistical rigor and generate reports. - **Cross-functional Collaboration:** - Partner with Design UX, Web analytics, and creative teams for experimentation. Qualifications: - 5+ years of front-end development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) in a commercial environment. - Deep familiarity with customer experience optimization platforms like AB Tasty, Optimizely, VWO. - Experience in creating and deploying custom components using JavaScript frameworks within testing platforms. - Knowledge of DOM manipulation, client-side performance, and browser debugging. - Exposure to Content Management Systems, especially headless CMS like Contentful. - Familiarity with API integrations, client/server-side web data tracking, version control systems, and CI/CD practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Understanding of CRO principles, statistics, and sample sizing. - Familiarity with personalization use cases and customer data layers. - Experience in implementing experiments in e-commerce or SaaS environments.,
