About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with hands-on experience in Laravel, Vue.js/React, and a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. This is a full-time contractual role for 3 months, offering the flexibility of hybrid work – a mix of remote work and onsite in our Kolkata office. You will work closely with product and design teams to build, enhance, and maintain web application for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js/React
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Implement responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas and queries
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
• Participate in code reviews and daily stand-ups
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and devices
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of features

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in Laravel framework
• Proficiency in Vue.js or React.js (at least one is mandatory)
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience working with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Inertia.js, Tailwind CSS, or Livewire
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in working with startups or IT consulting firms
• Basic understanding of Japanese language
