Web Designer/Developer

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout: Create the visual structure, layout, and aesthetic of websites, including selecting colors, fonts, and graphics.
• Client collaboration: Meet with clients to understand their needs and goals, presenting designs and providing updates.
• Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize website design concepts before full development.
• Usability and responsiveness: Ensure the website is intuitive, easy to navigate, and functions correctly on various devices (desktops, tablets, mobile).
• Collaboration with developers: Work closely with developers to ensure the designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
• Optimization: Optimize web pages for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO).
• Website maintenance: Update and maintain existing websites based on feedback and analytics.

Required skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in design tools and languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong visual and graphic design skills with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Experience in creating user flows, process flows, wireframes, and site maps.
• Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.
