Web Content Specialist

Role Overview: OpenText, a global leader in information management, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Web Content Specialist to join their BCTI/CSI Research team. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on classifying websites, analyzing URLs for security risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the future of information management. Key Responsibilities: - Classify uncategorized websites and identify miscategorized websites in multiple languages. - Analyze URLs and IP addresses for security risks and make informed decisions based on contextual web information. - Conduct research on the rank/popularity of applications and train Active-Learning technologies. - Collaborate with Technical Support and File Threat Researchers on complex investigations. - Respond to customer queries via email regarding url/domain categorization and functional coverage. - Work independently to meet deadlines and integrate effectively within a fast-paced, global, and multilingual team. - Demonstrate technical proficiency, effective communication, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Required: - A degree in an IT-related field or relevant experience in IT, content moderation, or data analysis. - 2+ years of experience in the cyber security domain. - Knowledge of HTML and SQL is preferred. - Proficiency in web/url categorization and reputation management. - Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office suite. - Strong English fluency and excellent writing skills. - Exceptional internet research skills and an investigative mindset. - Desired qualifications include Comptia Network+, Security+ or equivalent certifications.
