Role Overview: As Vice President - COO Analytics & Automation at Citi, you will lead a team dedicated to simplifying, streamlining, and automating controls to enhance our ability to prevent issues. You will oversee the development and implementation of automation solutions that are scalable and can be repurposed. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to identify control automation opportunities and implementing data analytics/automation strategies to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the end-to-end delivery of control automation tools, overseeing the entire Control Automation life cycle from requirement management to implementation. - Develop automation solutions that are scalable and can be re-purposed to enhance control automation processes. - Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (Designers, Developers, Solution Leads, Production support, etc.). - Implement data analytics/automation strategies to support business objectives and drive decision-making processes. - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics/automation to improve processes and methodologies. - Collaborate with Business, R&C teams, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to identify Control Automation opportunities. - Assess new tools and AI solutions, align them with organizational goals, and implement them in the Control Automation Area. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in information technology/information systems/computer applications/engineering from a premier institute. - 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience and 5+ years in people management. - Proficiency in automation tools, emerging techniques in automation for data-related business problems, and process automation tools such as Appian, Xceptor, Tableau, and Python. - Familiarity with Workflow management tools like Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket (Version Control) etc. - Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to formulate analytical methodology, manipulate data, and identify patterns. - Leadership ability with experience in mentoring and developing a team of managers/SMEs. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
