The Impact you will have in this role:
This WDS Coordinator is responsible for managing the coordination of day-to-day facility operations, furniture, fixture and equipment (FFE) repairs and maintenance in the designated office and the role incumbent is expected to be physically present in the office 5 days per week other than whilst on leave. This position is also responsible for supervision of outsourced facility operations staff.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees the operations, maintenance and testing of building plumbing, UPS, HVAC, emergency generators, electrical and fire detection/suppressions systems
- Supervise cleaning staff, including execution of quality control processes
- Create and track Purchase Orders along with comparing actual spend versus available budget
- Monitoring of sites building monitoring systems and alarms
- Assists and co-ordinates aesthetic and facilities process improvements
- Liaises with site Regional Area Manager, WDS manager and attend meetings when necessary
- Supports Health & Safety a required including workplace risk assessments, water testing, & air quality testing
- Oversight of amenities such as coffee, vending, parking, event support
- Support office services groups mail, shipping and receiving activities
- 24/7 Response to emergency situations relating to employees and/or facilities
- Supports space planning, analyzing space needs and managing moves/relocations
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Ability to read architectural and engineering building drawings
- Excellent communication & written skills and client focus
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
- Experience with Nuvolo Work Order System (or comparable CMMS)
- Strong vendor relationship management skills
