WBCG:FIG - Custody Relationship Manager - Team Lead
The Wholesale Banking Coverage Group (WBCG) focusses on doing business with customers such as the Government, Strategic, large and mid-corporates and the SMEs across industries like Infrastructure, Engineering, Chemicals, Oil and Gas, Metals, textiles etc. The Corporate lending business emphasizes on doing business with higher rated corporates with a focus on garnering a higher share of the cash flows by providing working capital facilities.
Custody & Capital Market Division is a niche segment focus on Custodial Services (Domestic - PMS, AIF, MF, Insurance etc & Foreign - FPI, FDI, FVCI, DRs) Clearing & Settlement services for Trade Professional Clearing Services for Equity & Currency Derivative Segments. Bank is also offering Fund Accounting Services for Portfolio Managers (PMS) & Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
Business development under Foreign Custody Segments like Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPI) Foreign Venture Capital Investors (FVCI) Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) Depository Receipts (DRs)- New to Bank Customers or Existing customer base.
Business development under Domestic Custody Segments like Portfolio Managers (PMS) Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) Mutual Funds Insurance Banks Primary Dealers PF Trusts Corporates etc - New to Bank Customers or Existing customer base.
Deepen existing relationships and ensure to derive new business opportunities from them.
Provide Solutions to the customers under Custody, Capital Markets and Regulatory Guidelines
Responsible for Account On-boarding of custody clients, Ensuring timely issuance FPI registrations DDP/ Custody team.
Creating synergies with Intermediaries (Legal firms and Trustees) Administrators - In India & Key overseas jurisdictions.
Good understanding on SEBI and RBI guidelines for custody and custody related customers.
Ensure to resolve Customer Service-related issues, if any, by coordinating with stakeholders.
Study Peers product offering & Customer needs and give feedback to Product team for development/Implementation.
Strategy & Planning for growth
New Client/Fund acquisition
Develop Business at GIFT City
Meet revenue targets - Fee, CDAB, AUC & Fx
Offer integrated and Digital solutions.
Update customers about new/change in regulations, New Product offering (Product Commercialization)
Organize roadshows in collaboration with Big4 / Internal subsidiaries / Tax Consultant.
Business Analysis & Management Reports Preparation.
Any master's degree with experience of 5+ years in custody business.
