Job Description – Assistant Manager / Sr. Executive – Solutions Design

Division: Supply Chain Solutions

Overall Role Purpose

• Analyze complex customer requirements and design cost-effective, operationally feasible, and commercially viable logistics solutions.
• Support operations in re-engineering processes and setups to sustain cost competitiveness.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of warehousing and logistics business
• Proficiency in layout design, process flow diagrams, time & motion studies
• Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office, AutoCAD, Power BI)
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Customer-centric mindset with innovative problem-solving ability
• Commercial acumen and consulting approach

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics solution design
• Consulting background desirable
• Proven working experience as a Solutions Designer
• Fluency in English (written & verbal)

Physical / Travel Requirements

• Flexibility to work beyond regular shifts if required
• Willingness to travel up to 15 days/month (domestic)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and internal stakeholders to review contractual commitments and customer supply chain needs.
• Engage with clients to understand RFQ scope and pain points.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis (throughput, trends, storage, cost, resources).
• Design and formulate cost-effective commercial proposals with focus on reducing fixed/variable costs.
• Perform activity-based costing for RFP/RFQ.
• Study market trends, technologies, and operational best practices.
• Develop warehouse layouts, resource planning, space forecasting, and automation solutions.
• Present solutions to customers, supporting pursuit teams with impactful presentations.
• Support operations in re-engineering processes and deploying automation to improve productivity.
• Maintain solution design documentation, knowledge database, and property/MHE/cost repository.
• Promote best practices and team methodologies for continuous improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹921,773.36 - ₹2,230,435.36 per year
