Warehouse Manager - Food Industry

You are a highly experienced Warehouse Manager responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations within a food manufacturing/distribution unit located in Kalady. Your primary duties will include supervising all warehouse activities such as inbound/outbound logistics, storage, and dispatch. It is crucial to implement and uphold food safety and hygiene protocols like FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP standards. Additionally, you will be in charge of leading warehouse planning for stock rotation, FIFO/FEFO systems, and space utilization to ensure efficient day-to-day functioning. Collaboration with production, sales, and procurement teams is essential to guarantee smooth operations. Monitoring the cold chain, if applicable, and maintaining temperature-controlled storage will be part of your daily responsibilities. Utilizing WMS or ERP systems to maintain inventory accuracy and preparing reports for stock movement, shrinkage, and audit readiness are key tasks. You will also play a vital role in training, supervising, and evaluating warehouse staff performance. To excel in this role, you are required to have a minimum of 6 years of experience in warehouse/logistics management within the food or FMCG sector. Deep knowledge of warehouse safety, food storage standards, and inventory controls is essential. Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems is preferred. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle audits and regulatory inspections confidently are crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
