Warehouse & Inventory Manager

As a Warehouse & Inventory Manager at a Plastic Granules Manufacturing company based in Gummidipoondi, you will play a crucial role in overseeing gudown and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and safe stacking and storage of raw materials and finished goods. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse/gudown management within plastics or related manufacturing industries, you will be responsible for implementing proper storage protocols, managing inventory levels accurately, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and maintaining strong Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing proper storage protocols to prevent contamination, damage, and safety hazards - Managing inventory levels with accuracy using RFID and barcode systems - Coordinating with production and logistics teams for timely material flow - Maintaining strong EHS standards in the warehouse - Developing warehouse layout plans for optimized space utilization - Conducting regular inventory audits - Identifying continuous improvement opportunities - Training and supervising warehouse staff - Maintaining accurate documentation of stock movement and discrepancies Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred - Strong knowledge of PPCP, HDPE, ABS granules, and regrind materials - Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills - Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management tools - Experience with RFID and barcode inventory systems - Good understanding of EHS principles for maintaining a safe work environment - Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
