Job Description Warehouse Management Position: Warehouse Management Department: Supply Chain & Logistics Management Location: Noida Reports To: Leadership Role – Supply Chain & Logistics Management Experience Required: 4–6 years Compensation Range: 4L – 6L per annum 1. Role Summary The role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound stock management, order fulfilment, and dispatch coordination. The role ensures that inventory accuracy, timely order processing, and optimal warehouse efficiency are maintained. This is a hands-on execution role where the role will manage a team of warehouse operators and ensure seamless coordination between the warehouse and logistics teams. The ideal candidate is a smart execution professional with 4–6 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory handling, and team management. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy in warehouse processes. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Inbound Operations & Inventory Management Supervise receipt of incoming consignments from factories and suppliers. Ensure proper unloading, verification, and binning of stock into designated warehouse locations. Conduct inventory checks and audits to maintain stock accuracy. Ensure FIFO stock movement to minimize aging stock issues. Coordinate with the Procurement and Manufacturing teams to align inventory planning with production schedules. B. Outbound Operations & Order Fulfilment Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatching of customer orders . Ensure on-time and accurate order fulfilment in coordination with the logistics team. Optimize warehouse workflows to minimize order processing time. Track and report order accuracy, fulfilment rate, and turnaround time KPIs . Ensure safe and secure packaging of orders before dispatch. C. Warehouse Operations & Process Optimization Implement warehouse best practices to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Optimize warehouse layout and storage to maximize space utilization and minimize handling time . Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational SOPs . Monitor warehouse cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and working conditions . Identify and resolve bottlenecks in warehouse operations through process improvements. D. Team Management & Supervision Lead a team of warehouse operators handling loading, unloading, binning, picking, and packing. Assign daily tasks to operators based on order volumes and warehouse workload . Train warehouse staff on best practices, SOPs, and safety protocols . Monitor operator productivity and performance , ensuring alignment with operational targets. Maintain a positive and disciplined warehouse work environment . E. Logistics & Dispatch Coordination Work closely with Logistics Coordinators to ensure smooth last-mile delivery execution . Plan efficient loading schedules for outbound shipments to minimize delays. Ensure all necessary documentation (e-way bills, invoices, dispatch slips) is prepared accurately . Address order discrepancies, missing shipments, and delivery issues in real time . 3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Inbound Processing Efficiency (%): Time taken to process inbound consignments. Inventory Accuracy (%): Reduction in stock mismatches and discrepancies. Order Fulfilment Rate (%): Percentage of orders dispatched correctly and on time. Warehouse Space Utilization (%): Optimization of available storage. Operator Productivity: Orders processed per operator per shift. Order Dispatch Turnaround Time: Time taken to prepare and dispatch orders post-receipt. 4. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Experience: 4–6 years in warehouse operations, inventory control, and team management. Industry Preference: Toys, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), or E-Commerce. Technical Skills: Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Tally, SAP, or other ERP tools . Proficiency in inventory tracking and warehouse optimization techniques . Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and SOPs . 5. Preferred Soft Skills Strong leadership & team management skills. Ability to analyse stock movement trends & optimize warehouse efficiency . Excellent problem-solving ability, particularly in warehouse process bottlenecks . Detail-oriented with strong execution focus. Effective communication skills for coordination with internal teams & transporters. 6. Team Structure & Reporting Reports To: Leadership Role – Supply Chain & Logistics Management. Manages: Loading & Unloading Operators (Handles outbound/ inbound consignments). Binning, Picking & Packing Operators (Handles order processing & fulfilment). Key Interlocks: Procurement & Manufacturing Teams (For inventory planning & inbound stock coordination). Logistics Coordinators (For order dispatch & delivery execution). Finance Team (For inventory valuation & stock reconciliation).
