Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals. Use demand forecasting to plan inventory levels and production schedules.
Procurement & Sourcing:
Identify and qualify reliable suppliers. Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Logistics & Distribution:
Coordinate transportation, shipping, and warehousing functions. Identify optimal routes and monitor 3PL (third-party logistics) performance.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Oversee warehouse operations, including storage efficiency and cycle counts.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as delivery reliability, lead times, and inventory turnover.
Risk Management:
Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans. Ensure compliance with safety standards and international trade regulations.
