Job Purpose / Summary:

The role of the Branch In Charge is multi-faceted. He will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales and operation teams, ensuring compliance and achieving the financial goals of the branch. He must be an authority in Gold Loan product of the bank. He will manage and train staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper Gold Loan operation. He will oversee the sales and operations on a daily basis and is ultimately responsible for business development and for the success of the Branch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with management in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the Gold Loan department; provide input to these objectives and to the manner in which performance will be measured and controlled.
• Ensure training & development of all Gold Loan Staffs
• Ensuring basic operational hygiene, while following product guidelines & laid-down process
• Oversee the proper security & storage of Gold packets
• Ensuring optimum customer service.
• Maintain current knowledge of the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India and all other regulatory authorities relating to Gold Loan operations
• Ensure that all reporting and management information is provided on a timely basis to the higher management
• Conduct regularly scheduled sales and customer service meetings; actively encourages staff to build customer relationships
• Regular Branch Visit , DSC & active participation in all kind of promotional & marketing activities.
• Implement strategies to achieve financial targets and qualitative goals assigned to the branch as part of Banks overall strategic plan
• Review Gold Loan Valuers performance throughout the probationary period and on an annual basis thereafter. Supervising assayer’s daily activity
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
• Performing such other tasks as maybe assigned by the Management
• Replying to concurrent Audit
• Tracking Margin Money scenarios & ensuring collection of all Overdue
• Organizing Auction of Gold Loan , as per requirement
• Ensure to achieving the disbursement , booksize and collection target month on month.
• Ensuring timely renewal of Gold Loan, A/C’s, thus arresting portfolio erosion and Any other duties as may be assigned
• Supervision of Valuation process
• Need to actively engage in implementation of the New Gold Loan System. New initiatives/Ideas which can improvise the processess and reduce costs

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

• Candidate mush have experience in 03/05 years' in gold loan industries ,Preference will be giving to those having an experience in gold loan from banking industry/ NBFC players like Manappuram, Muthoot. IIFL ect.
• Candidate must be graduate in Regular Course . Prference will be given masters degree in Management
• He/ She should be hard task master, aggressive, strict, result oriented and good decision maker with good operational & business acumen, thorough knowledge of the product features and valuation process.

Skills will be required :

• Clear written and oral communication skills in English
• Should have a hands- on approach and should be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement
