Job Title: Waiter / Waitress Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. --- Key Responsibilities: Greet customers politely and present menus. Take accurate food and drink orders using order slips or a POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally. Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Clear tables and clean the dining area after customers leave. Follow all health and safety regulations. Cooperate with kitchen staff and other restaurant team members to ensure smooth operations. Handle customer complaints with professionalism and escalate when needed. Present bills and accept payments. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area. --- Requirements: Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar role is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and professional appearance. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus. Team player and willing to support others when needed. --- Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer knowledge (POS handling).
