job Title: Waiter / Steward Location: [Anjuna, goa ] Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant Service Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Supervisor Employment Type: [Full-Time ] Job Summary:We are looking for a courteous, attentive, and efficient Waiter/Steward to join our food service team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards are essential. Key Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding the menu. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall experience. Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Process bills and payments accurately. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operation of service. Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary. Qualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a waiter/steward is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service. Must be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods.
