Job Description

Experience on RedHat 5,6 &7 system administration, installation and configuration. (Must) Linux administration and trouble shooting. Knowledge on Kernel Patching, OS upgrade, Primary Skill - SAP BASIS Secondary Skill - SAP HANA Experience of upgrading system drivers on physical servers and installation of VMWare tools on virtual servers. Experience on installation of patches and troubleshooting. Hands on experience on troubleshooting windows performance issues. Experience on installation of basic software on severs. Troubleshooting hardware issues on servers and printers. Having knowledge of ILO and DRAC. Candidate should have knowledge of windows backup and restoration. Experience on installing print queues. Troubleshooting network issues at OS level. Candidate should have basic knowledge of VMWare management tasks. Experience on installing Windows 2008 & above servers. Inplace upgrades of windows OS Virtualisation infra deployment; decommissioning and migration. Working on day to day technical issues and resolving them. Generating and providing reports using standard tools as and when required. Handling patchsoftware installation uninstallation issues. Installing VMware Tools for Virtual machines and upgrading VM hardware version. Managing vMotion; Storage vMotion. Keeping track of regular scheduled backups and troubleshoot whenever required. Basic troubleshooting of OS from task manager or event logs. vcenter and Esxi deployment and configuration. vSphere troubleshooting. VXrail Deployment; Administration and management.
