Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Professional for Vulnerability Management at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving vulnerabilities within the company's IT and OT environments. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting vulnerability scans and assessments, analyzing scan results, collaborating with IT teams and external providers to remediate vulnerabilities, prioritizing critical threats, maintaining assessment records, and innovating cybersecurity tools and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments to identify security weaknesses in SE IT environments. - Analyze scan results, troubleshoot failures, and support clients in interpreting findings. - Collaborate with IT teams, asset managers, and external providers to remediate vulnerabilities. - Prioritize and coordinate the resolution of critical threats, especially those marked EMERGENCY. - Maintain records of assessments and ensure compliance with security and product governance standards. - Innovate and optimize cybersecurity tools and processes, including custom integration and tool development. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus. - Experience in vulnerability management and cybersecurity, with deep knowledge of industry standards and best practices. - Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus and ticketing workflows. - Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective remediation strategies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Fluency in English (C1).
