Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Target Achievement

    • Sales Target Achievement.
    • Meet Dealers/ Consultants/ Architects/ users for new enquiry generation and business enhancement.
    • Follow Sales Process :
      • Understand drawings, Do Technical Calculations, equipment selection (VRV system design, fresh air solutions, and Control system scheme), pricing process, quotation generation, required follow ups, reply to queries.
    • Resolution to customer requests & complaints.
    • Enquiry Management
    • Innovative (Out of Box) thinker to minimize losses of enquiries and proactive approach.
    • System Presentations: Concept Selling, Pros and Cons, technology spread, conversion to VRV solutions.
  • Ensure collections are as per targets and guidelines (including LC/TT transaction documents)

    • Aggressive and timely follow up for payments (Local billing)
    • All statutory form collections for related cases.
    • For indent sales : Follow up with customers for LC/TT transactions, documents, information for shipment updates( in coordination with HO)
  • Dealer Management, development and network expansion

    • Close monitoring of dealers progress, Concept selling, Enquiry capturing/ conversion.
    • Monitor Dealer’s behavior and movements, motivate them, Observe discontinuities, Direct their thoughts & efforts towards Daikin results.
    • Control Inter dealer clashes, resolve grievances.
    • Educate & Motivate Dealers thru Daikin schemes, Policies, Products and stimulating them.
    • Mapping Market for new dealer identification, analyzing their potential / fitment, appointment process.
    • Interact with superiors for generation of presentation tools for dealers and other supports
    • Plan & execute strong education tool for dealers.
  • Plan and Execute

    PR and networking activities

    • Meet Key Customers, Architect, Consultant
    • Plan actions & requirements based on such meetings
    • Logical & analytical approach towards resolving issues
    • Presentations to influencers / customers/ architects.
  • Compliance on overall sales process

    • Understand and comply with all activities of sales process
  • Market analysis and competitor activities

    • Track, Monitor, Inputs on competitor movements & Activities (products, schemes, pricing moves, service backups etc.)
    • Market data analysis/ inputs vis a vis: Brand wise market share, Daikin volume share movement, competitor product/ price movements.
    • Capture about any movements on new entrants.
    • Keep track on competitor schemes, analysis inputs to seniors, suggestions to VRV Manager/ BM.
    • Suggestions and inputs for innovations in schemes, new desired activities, sales promotion actions/ advertising need inputs.
    • Capture about any new feedback on Daikin products in market.
  • MIS inputs

    • Monitor -Weekly VRV Billing Plan
    • Consultant Call cycle reports
    • Corporate call cycle reports
    • Indent Rolling Plan
    • Enquiry statement
    • Competitor's Activity Tracking
    • Forecast (Billing) inputs to VRV Manager/ BM
  • Continuous learning process

    • Drawing Comparison based on Catalogue of Daikin products with competitor products.
    • To have "urge" to gather more and more knowledge & learning appetite for new air conditioning technologies, details of own & competitor products.
    • Tender understanding for techno-commercial details.
    • Advanced presentation skills for concept selling and conversion
    • Understanding of Architect layouts, non standard heat loads, innovative system design, advanced control systems, energy efficient solutions, and alternate fresh air solutions.
