What You'll Be Doing Key Responsibilities: Monitoring, technical and troubleshooting support and administration of firewall (FortiGate SD WAN) Ensure daily backup of Management servers and firewall. Troubleshooting access related issues due to firewall and IPS policies Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/half yearly/yearly compliance as per HSL requirement. Review monitoring alerts for the firewall for availability and performance using in-house deployed NMS tool Configure firewall/IPS/AV security policies on firewall. Adapt to new situations and opportunities that may include multiple Integrators on a common customer network Travel required within the assigned territory and within the Region estimated at 40 - 50% within the territory, carrying a laptop. Basic Qualifications/Skills 5 years of Carrier / Service Provider Networking and / or security design, management and troubleshooting. 3 years of pre-sales experience with a strong track record of successful project wins and implementations Experienced network configuration and troubleshooting skills on major vendors such as Cisco or Juniper Thorough understanding of network security topics and technologies Hands-On Configuration or troubleshooting of: MPLS, VRF, MPLS VPN, Layer 2 and Layer 3 MPLS VPN, MPLS-TE, QoS BGP and FlowSpec Netflow, SFLOW, IPFix VLAN, HSRP, SPAN, ERSPAN, Access-List Deep understanding, interpretation and diagnose of protocols: DNS, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, DHCP Radius, Tacacs+ HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2, HTTP/3 Attended formal sales training that teaches pre sales techniques. Examples of training courses include but are not limited to Sandler, Siebel or Afterburner. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organization, time management skills and multi-tasking skills. Self-motivated and constantly looking for ways to improve both product and process. Preferred Qualifications/Skills Previous implementation or professional service experience Networking & security qualifications e.g. CCNP Service Provider, CCIE R&S or Service Provider, JNCIP-SP, JNCIE- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent Experience responding to or creating RFI or RFPs Experience in having conducted or participated in security audits a plus.
