Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional in Risk Analytics with a strong background in developing, implementing, and optimizing credit scorecards. This role will play a key part in shaping the organizations credit risk strategy and will involve close collaboration with senior leadership to drive data-informed decisions across the credit lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Scorecard Implementation & Strategic Development
- Lead the full lifecycle of credit scorecard development and validation across acquisition, behavior, and collections.
- Convert analytical insights into practical, scalable strategies aligned with the organization’s risk appetite.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine credit policies and decision-making frameworks based on scorecard outputs.
- Continuously enhance scorecard effectiveness through challenger models, overrides, and performance tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, technology, and credit teams to integrate scorecards into decision systems and operational workflows.
- Serve as a key link between analytics and business teams, ensuring model outputs are translated into actionable strategies.
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to CXOs and risk committees to support high-impact decisions.
Risk Analytics & Governance
- Oversee scorecard validation and monitoring to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory standards.
- Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis to identify emerging risks and business opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and governance protocols for model development and deployment.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in risk analytics, with a strong focus on scorecard development, validation, and strategic implementation.
- Proven success in deploying scorecards that are actively used in production environments.
- Experience managing complex scorecard structures, including segmentation, overrides, and challenger models.
- Solid understanding of credit bureau data (CIBIL, Equifax, CRIF) and banking risk frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
