VP Financial Control

Role Overview: Join us as a Vice President Financial Control and help manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting. You will lead Accounting and Reporting for Barclays entities based out of Americas region. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards - Support in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, reporting to senior colleagues - Develop and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial data - Implement financial policies and procedures for consistent practices across the organization - Select, implement, and maintain financial systems and software applications - Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports, and collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities Qualifications Required: - Deep experience in managing controllership role for Banking/Trading products in large-scale Banking and Financial service sector entities - Expert knowledge of IFRS and IAS reporting requirements, and working knowledge of US-GAAP compliance - Leadership exposure of managing large teams with CA/CFA or equivalent certification - Experience in AI/ML, Alteryx, and leading change management initiatives - Strong cross-functional knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and understanding of financial control and governance framework Additional Company Details: Not applicable for this job description.,
