Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation phases of engineering projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.

• Team Leadership & Management:

• Overseeing all engineers /project managers /site and technical staff and being a mentor for all construction activities including providing technical inputs of methodologies of construction and coordination for site management activities. Allocate resources effectively and ensure team members have the necessary tools and support.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.
• Manage client expectations and ensure their requirements are met.

• Technical Oversight:

• Oversee engineering design and development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance on complex engineering problems.
• Play and active role in Design Coordination, award of Contracts and Contract Management.
• Directing, evaluation of project and presenting cost/benefits analysis at project decision points for construction of residential/commercial complex, utility & infrastructure.

• Budget & Cost Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and variance analysis.
• Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Approve expenditures and manage financial aspects of the project.

• Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to identify and address any issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

• Project Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and records.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project performance and issues.

• Innovation & Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and advancements.
• Promote innovation and encourage the adoption of new technologies and methods.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering (Civil) With MBA Preferred.

• Experience:

  20+ years of experience in engineering project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
