Job Title: Quality Technician - Construction Site (Township & High-Rise Buildings)

Location: F Premium (Punawale)

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Experience Level: 3-5 years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Technician to join our construction team responsible for high-rise buildings within our township development. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction materials, especially concrete, meet established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough quality inspections of concrete received on-site from various RMC plant vendors.

Perform slump cone tests and accurately cast concrete cubes for quality control.

Maintain systematic records of concrete cubes sent to external laboratories for testing, track results, and ensure all reports are well-documented.

Operate and manage on-site testing of cubes using the in-house Compression Testing Machine (CTM).

Present detailed quality reports and findings during weekly site management review meetings.

Promptly escalate discrepancies or test failures to the Project Manager and Management team, ensuring timely corrective actions.

Regularly inspect materials such as steel, tiles, gypsum, and AAC blocks to confirm compliance with approved quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.

Proven experience (3-5 years) in quality control and material testing at construction sites, preferably involving high-rise buildings.

Strong knowledge of concrete testing procedures, material standards, and documentation practices.

Proficiency in operating Compression Testing Machines (CTM) and other quality testing equipment.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
