Job Description

Responsibilities: Provide strategic technical leadership, defining and evolving the application architecture for web and mobile platforms. Drive technical innovation and contribute to the evolution of the engineering tech stack. Lead, mentor, and grow multiple engineering teams. Oversee the full application development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance. Drive the adoption of best practices in software development (Agile, CI/CD, testing, quality). Ensure application security and compliance. Manage technical debt and advocate for continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with product, design, and stakeholders to translate requirements. Actively contribute to the overall business strategy with technical insights and solutions. Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively. Represent the engineering team in executive discussions. Person must be able to split his time appropriately between individual technical contribution as well as technical planning, coaching, technical management Takes a holistic view of the organization, developing team responsibilities and staffing plans aligned with business goals. Leads teams effectively through obstacles, adapting approaches as needed to build stronger units. Prioritizes the greater good of the organization in decision-making.
