VoIP Developer

Role Overview: As a highly skilled VoIP Developer with 5-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of open-source VoIP solutions like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, and Kamailio. You will also handle tasks such as setting up proxies for push notifications, managing VoIP and SIP protocols, configuring tools for monitoring and debugging, implementing value-added features, managing databases, ensuring network reliability, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of open-source VoIP solutions (e.g., Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, Kamailio). - Setting up proxies to send background push notifications to mobile apps for VoIP communications. - Management and troubleshooting of VoIP and SIP protocols. - Handling PSTN lines and ensuring seamless communication infrastructure. - Configuring tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, sipp, fail2ban, and IPtables for monitoring and debugging. - Setting up value-added features such as Voicemail, ACD, IVRS, and CTI. - Managing databases like MySQL and MongoDB, including replication and Heartbeat configuration. - Ensuring network reliability with an in-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and LAN/WAN networks. - Performing server administration tasks in Linux environments. - Implementing WebRTC for real-time communication. - Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software issues effectively. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience in VoIP development. - Proficiency in open-source VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, or Kamailio. - Strong knowledge of VoIP and SIP. - Experience in setting up proxies to enable background push notifications for mobile applications. - Hands-on experience with PSTN lines and related configurations. - Proficiency in tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, sipp, fail2ban, and IPtables. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Strong knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB with experience in Database Replication. - Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN setups. - Familiarity with SIP/SDP protocols and Softphones. - Experience in server administration on Linux. - Knowledge of WebRTC technology. - Awareness of Enterprise Communication Servers (PBXs) and their standard features.
