Visualization Associate - Front end developer

Role Overview: You will be part of the Visualization Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Bain & Company, working closely with global Bain case teams, Bain Partners, and end-clients to provide data analytics and business intelligence support. Your role will involve using advanced data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Azure, AWS, Tableau, PowerBI, React, and NodeJS to convert data into insightful visualization tools for various case requests. Key Responsibilities: - Write complex code to develop scalable, flexible, user-friendly applications across a robust technology stack - Construct, test, install, and maintain database and backend for software products - Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability - Contribute to the planning for acceptance testing and implementation of new software - Develop secure and highly performant services and API - Evaluate potential technologies for adoption, including open-source frameworks, libraries, and tools - Ensure the maintainability and quality of code - Support project lead in end-to-end handling of the entire process, from requirement gathering to automation - Gather requirements and business process knowledge for planning user experience - Investigate data and code to identify issues, propose solutions, and prepare documentation - Support product development by building scalable and automated codebase and algorithms - Lead client/case team calls, communicate insights, and relay implications to the team - Keep updated on new front end development tools and techniques Qualifications Required: - Graduate/Post-Graduate from a top-tier college with strong academic records and 3-5 years of relevant work experience in front end development - Proficiency in TypeScript and frameworks like React or Angular - Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) - Experience with state management libraries, modern front-end build pipelines, and RESTful APIs - Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles - Motivated and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills - Ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines - Concentration in a quantitative discipline preferred (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics) - Knowledge of testing frameworks and design systems/tools is a plus - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git is a plus - Experience with GraphQL is a plus (Note: Omitted additional details about the company as they were not included in the provided job description),
