JOB DESCRIPTION: VISUAL MERCHANDISER, TITAN COMPANY LTD

Position Title: Senior Visual Merchandiser – Premium Watches

Location: Bengaluru (Head Office), India

Reporting to: Head of VM & Brand Experience

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly creative Visual Merchandiser to design and execute

visual merchandising (VM) initiatives for our premium watch brands: Edge, Nebula and Xylys.

With 6-8 years of VM design, materials and execution experience, the ideal candidate will be

responsible for both strategic and hands-on tasks: conceptualising seasonal visual themes,

creating artwork and kits, coordinating with vendors, and driving flawless deployments across

regional teams. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution, and requires strong

stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Concept & Planning

  • Develop VM concept directions for each season (window displays, in-store fixture
  • layouts, point-of-sale visuals) aligned to the Edge, Nebula and Xylys brand identities
  • under the guidance of the team lead.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, retail operations, product teams and regional VM
  • teams as needed to define visual narratives tied to collections, launches and campaigns.
  • Translate concepts into detailed VM kits and fixtues: artwork, signage, POS materials,
  • fixture & display guidelines, including timelines and budget inputs. Work closely with all
  • vendors to artwork, prototype, execute and deploy.
  • Research market trends, store-environment innovations and competitor approaches to
  • keep VM fresh, relevant and commercially effective.

Execution & Deployment

  • Manage end-to-end production of all VM projects: liaise with external vendors (graphics
  • houses, fixture fabricators, print/signage suppliers), ensure artwork approval, quality
  • control, timely delivery and deployment readiness.
  • Coordinate with regional VM teams for placement of kits and fixtures as well as all
  • seasonal VM, campaigns and activations in stores, events and pop-ups; provide
  • installation support, troubleshoot as needed and ensure brand standards are
  • maintained.
  • Oversee the BAU VM operations: refreshes, store resets, fixture updates, seasonal
  • transitions, special events and promotions with conceptual and creative direction from the team lead.
  • Maintain accurate timelines, track milestones and ensure smooth roll-out across all
  • relevant brand touchpoints and formats (flagships, all channel stores, shop-in-shops).
  • Conduct post-deployment reviews: photo capture of installations, feedback from store
  • teams, vendor performance assessment, identify improvement opportunities and feed learnings into next cycles.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate actively with internal stakeholders (brand teams, retail operations,
  • merchandising, procurement) and external vendors, ensuring clear communication,
  • timely approvals and adherence to brand, quality and cost standards.
  • Negotiate with vendors on specifications, lead times, cost efficiencies, quality control and
  • risk management.
  • Work closely with regional VM leads to build alignment on planning, deployment
  • schedules and store readiness; support training or briefing of store VM teams where
  • required.
  • Monitor VM budget usage and track costs for monthly budget reviews with the team
  • lead.

Standards, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain VM guidelines and standard operating procedures to ensure
  • consistency across all stores and markets.
  • Maintain a VM archive (e.g., seasonal imagery, vendor directory, fixture specs,
  • installation manuals) for reference and reuse.
  • Measure effectiveness of VM initiatives (store feedback, compliance audits, visual
  • quality, sales impact) and propose iterative enhancements.
  • Stay updated on VM materials, fixture technologies, display methods and sustainability
  • trends in retail environments.

What We Offer

  • An opportunity to shape the visual identity and retail experience for our premium watch
  • brands (Edge, Nebula, Xylys) – a unique blend of design, brand and retail execution.
  • Based at the Titan Premium Watches Head Office in Bengaluru – a strong platform for
  • regional exposure and collaboration.
  • A dynamic environment where creativity meets execution: you’ll be responsible not only
  • for ideas, but for bringing them to life.
  • Collaboration with senior leadership in VM, brand experience and retail operations –
  • excellent for growth in a global-oriented business.
  • A competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.

Work Experience

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Merchandising, Retail Design or a related discipline
  • from a reputed college.
  • Ideally

5 to 8 years’ professional experience

    in visual merchandising within a
  • premium-luxury retail or consumer-luxury environment (ideally watches, jewellery,
  • accessories or fashion retail).
  • Proven experience in both creative design (concepting, artwork development) and
  • operational execution (vendor management, deployment, store roll-out).
  • Experience working with multiple brands and liaising with regional store/VM teams is a
  • significant advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent creative flair, strong visual and spatial awareness, and an ability to
  • conceptualise compelling displays aligned to brand identity.
  • Strong project-management skills: able to own complex timelines, multiple concurrent
  • campaigns, end-to-end deployment and troubleshooting under pressure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management: ability to communicate clearly, negotiate with
  • vendors, collaborate across cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Solid materials, fabrication and fixture-knowledge: understanding of print, signage,
  • display fabrication, lighting, store structure and installation constraints.
  • Proficient in standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite,CDR, SKetchUp,
  • Microsoft Office) and capable of creating and understanding technical drawings or fixture
  • schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality consciousness, problem-solving mindset and
  • commitment to brand excellence.
  • Flexible and proactive mindset: able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, travel to
  • stores or vendor sites as required, and adapt to changing schedules and deadlines.
