Visual designer – skill set Experience: • Over 5-8 years of expertise in graphic design, content enhancement, video creation, and new media. Technical Skills: • Proficient in both static and motion graphic design with advanced content enhancement capabilities. • Hands-on expertise in industry-leading tools, including Figma, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Audition, and Microsoft PowerPoint/Word. Core Competencies: • Skilled in web design principles and responsive design, with experience in creating content for diverse digital platforms and formats. • Preferred use of Figma as a web design tool for collaborative and effective design workflows. • Strong ability to transform complex information into visually engaging media, such as videos and other accessible formats. • Adept at thinking creatively, aesthetically, and independently, with a solid understanding of current graphic and design trends. • Expertise in adhering to brand guidelines while developing deliverables and creating reusable templates. Key Knowledge Areas: • Comprehensive understanding of design principles with awareness of UX, UI, and responsive design trends (ideal but not mandatory). • Advanced technical skills in one or more domains, such as: o Content Creation o Digital Design o Brand Immersion o Event Design o Print Design o User Experience Education: • Ideally NIFT - Graduate in graphic design or art with a strong focus on visualizing scientific or technical content.
