Job Description

At Vista IT Solutions (VITSPL), were building the next generation of cloud-native data infrastructure for top-tier platforms in the U.S. Our mission is to enable scalable, production-ready data systems that power real-time analytics, AI-driven insights, and mission-critical applications.Were looking for a Data Engineer whos passionate about modern data tooling and eager to work on impactful projects in collaboration with high-performing U.S.-based AI and product teams.

Working Hours :

Must align with U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours.

What Youll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and DBT
  • Work with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Integrate event-driven systems and APIs into data workflows
  • Model data using the medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers)
  • Collaborate closely with product and data science teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability
  • Proactively monitor and improve pipeline performance and system health

What Were Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in modern data engineering
  • Strong expertise in SQL, DBT, and orchestration tools like Airflow
  • Solid experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Proven ability to integrate external systems and APIs into data platforms
  • Familiarity with data modeling best practices and data quality frameworks

Nice To Have (Bonus Points)

  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and data pipeline monitoring
