This is a critical role ensuring quality assurance in our cap, closure, and bottle inspection automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Understanding & Pre-Project Planning

· Document defect criteria such as black spots, missing inserts, misalignments, warping, or shade variations.
· Translate customer requirements into actionable inspection points and specifications.
· Prepare technical feasibility documentation and qualify the project internally and with the customer.
Hardware Selection & System Design
· Evaluate and select suitable vision cameras and accessories based on application needs.
· Expertise in working with major vendors: Cognex, Keyence, Omron, Basler, SACMI, etc.
· Understand camera interfaces, lenses, illumination, and mounting configurations for optimal results.
Vision System Programming & Integration
· Develop and configure machine vision programs using vendor-specific software.
· Program logic for presence/absence detection, dimension checks, orientation, surface defects, label validation, etc.
· Integrate the vision system with PLCs, HMIs, and existing machine architecture.
Installation, Testing & Customer Handover

· Calibrate cameras and lighting on-site for real-world conditions.
· Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
· Train end users and operators on the system usage and basic troubleshooting.
Post-Sales Support
· Provide online and offline technical support for deployed vision systems.
· Diagnose and resolve software/hardware issues remotely or during site visits.

· Maintain a library of standard inspection programs and configurations for repeat use.
· Update change management records and version control of software releases.
