Job Description

As a Vision Application Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on the development, integration, and optimization of vision systems specifically for industrial automation purposes. Your main responsibility will involve designing, configuring, and integrating machine vision systems for various applications within manufacturing environments, such as product inspection, quality control, sorting, and measurement. Your expertise in vision technology will be crucial in selecting the most appropriate cameras, lighting, lenses, and vision software tools to ensure optimal system performance. Additionally, you will be expected to program and calibrate vision systems using tools like Cognex VisionPro, Keyence, NI Vision, HALCON, or similar platforms, while developing and optimizing algorithms for image processing, pattern recognition, and defect detection. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be a key aspect of your role, as you will work closely with production engineers, automation engineers, and machine operators to successfully integrate vision systems into existing or new production lines. You will also be involved in conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support for ongoing operations. Furthermore, your responsibilities will extend to preparing technical documentation, delivering training to plant operators and maintenance staff, and continuously monitoring system performance to suggest improvements for speed, accuracy, and reliability. Staying updated with the latest developments in vision technology and industry trends will be essential to apply best practices and innovations for enhancing manufacturing processes. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of hands-on experience working with machine vision systems in an industrial environment. Skills in image processing techniques, vision programming software, and troubleshooting in industrial environments are essential, while experience with advanced vision technologies and industrial automation would be advantageous. If you are a visionary professional with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive industrial automation and optimize manufacturing processes, we invite you to join our team as a Vision Application Engineer and contribute to our mission of excellence in vision system integration and optimization.,
