Visa counsellor

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Visa Counselor to join our team in Punjab, India. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and support to clients seeking visas for studying, working, or immigrating abroad. This role requires strong knowledge of visa processes for countries such as Canada, Australia, the UK, the USA, and other popular destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with prospective clients to understand their visa needs and provide tailored advice on the most appropriate visa options.
• Application Assistance: Guide clients through the visa application process, including the preparation and submission of required documents.
• Documentation Review: Ensure all client documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with the relevant visa requirements.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest immigration policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate information to clients.
• Communication: Liaise with embassies, consulates, and visa centers as necessary to track application statuses and resolve any issues.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing support throughout their application journey.
• Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up with clients regarding their application progress and any additional requirements.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate client records and update management on the progress of cases and any notable developments.
• Counseling Sessions: Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions for potential clients to discuss the benefits and processes for studying or working abroad.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in a related field such as International Relations or Social Sciences).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in visa counseling, immigration consulting, or a related field is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Knowledgeable: In-depth understanding of the visa process for major countries (e.g., Canada, Australia, UK, USA).
• Problem-solving: Ability to handle and resolve client queries efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail for managing documentation and application processes.
• Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using standard office software and CRM systems for client management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
