Visa counsellor

As an immigration counselor at our company, you will be responsible for providing professional immigration counseling services to clients who are looking to move to a foreign country for work, study, or settlement. Your main duties will include: - Providing immigration counseling to clients and guiding them through the laws, policies, and procedures of the destination country. - Conducting pre-assessments of clients" eligibility for various immigration programs. - Advising clients on the most suitable immigration program(s) based on their individual needs and goals. - Assisting clients in preparing and submitting immigration applications, forms, and documents. - Acting as a liaison between clients and immigration authorities/agencies throughout the application process. - Keeping clients updated on the progress of their immigration applications. - Offering post-landing services like airport pickup, accommodation assistance, and settlement support. - Maintaining accurate and current client records and files. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as counseling, psychology, international relations, or law (preferred). - Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in immigration counseling or a related field. - Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Punjabi (both verbal and written). - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. - Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and time management. - Computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office and database management systems. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and performance bonuses. The job location is in Ferozepur, Punjab, and requires in-person work.
