Job Description – Virtual Manager (Parakram) - Defence Job Title: Virtual Manager – Parakram Reporting to: Regional Heads Location: Noida 1. Job Purpose The Virtual Manager – Parakram will support the Defence channel by guiding variable employees in the distribution team. The role focuses on explaining policies, processes, and Life Insurance (LI) product knowledge, assisting with documentation, and coordinating with Head Office for policy clarifications. The position also involves supporting the hiring process for variable employees. This is not a direct sales role but a strategic support function to ensure smooth operations and compliance. 2. Dimensions Scope: Defence channel and distribution team Key Focus: Policy knowledge, process adherence, documentation, and product awareness Interactions: Internal teams and variable employees 3. Principal Accountabilities Channel Support & Training Explain company policies, processes, and compliance requirements to variable employees. Provide guidance on Life Insurance product features and positioning. Conduct knowledge sessions for channel teams on operational workflows. Head Office Liaison Coordinate with HO for policy clarifications and escalations. Communicate updates and guidelines to the channel promptly. Hiring & Documentation Assist in hiring variable employees for the Defence channel. Ensure proper documentation and onboarding compliance. Process & Compliance Monitor adherence to company policies within the channel. Maintain accurate records of communication, training, and documentation. 4. Job Requirements Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in insurance operations, channel support, or similar roles. Education: Graduate (mandatory). Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Life Insurance products and processes. Ability to train and guide teams effectively. Other: Organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable with documentation and compliance processes. 5. Key Interactions Internal: Head Office teams, Regional Heads, HR for hiring. External: Variable employees in Defence channel.
