We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor cum graphics designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with CSRBOXs initiatives, capturing the essence of our impact stories and engaging diverse audiences. This role demands technical expertise in video editing, storytelling, motion graphics, and 2D animation to create compelling narratives for our campaigns, training modules, and events.
Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Perform the full spectrum of editing tasks including splicing, sound balancing, audio syncing, and advanced color correction/grading.
- Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging stories aligned with organizational messaging, especially for CSR, impact storytelling, and campaign-based content.
- Ensure narrative alignment by reviewing scripts, briefs, and raw footage before finalizing cuts.
- Apply creative transitions, title cards, text overlays, and branding elements to enhance clarity and viewer engagement.
- Optimize video content for multiple platforms (social media, web, presentations, etc.) ensuring quality and compatibility.
Motion Graphics & Animation
- Design and integrate motion graphics and 2D animations for explainer videos, training modules, and digital content.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop animated sequences that communicate complex ideas simply and visually.
- Apply VFX and visual enhancements that add polish and professional quality to final deliverables.
On-Ground Video Production
- Plan and execute video shoots including interviews, field stories, corporate events, and social campaigns.
- Ensure professional setup of lighting, audio, and framing to meet production standards.
- Direct subjects and crew (as needed) to ensure effective storytelling and comfort during shoots.
Photography
- Capture high-quality photographs during shoots and events for use across media channels.
- Edit and retouch photographs to ensure they align with brand aesthetics and usage guidelines.
Equipment Management
- Operate, maintain, and manage all video/photo equipment including cameras, drones, lights, mics, and tripods.
- Regularly inspect and troubleshoot equipment to ensure readiness for both scheduled and ad-hoc shoots.
Project Management
- Create and manage project timelines, from pre-production planning to final delivery.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on deliverables, feedback loops, and approvals.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with content, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and produce multimedia content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve content quality and engagement.
- Support junior team members or freelancers as needed, providing guidance and quality checks.
Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
- Education: Degree in Communication and Media Studies, Fine Art, Visual Art, Graphic Design, Photography, Film/Television, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in video editing.
- Expertise in industry-standard software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop , and Final Cut Pro .
- Strong skills in color grading, storytelling, and post-production workflows .
- Prior experience as a video editor or videographer, particularly in the social impact sector.
- Proficiency in motion graphics, VFX, and 2D animation .
- Technical knowledge of professional lighting, photography, and videography equipment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work.
